Our Teachers play a very important role in your child's early education and In our opinion, there is no job better than teaching! Each day is different, and children are a constant source of amazement. They are fun to work with, and watching them learn and grow is extremely rewarding. Each one of our teachers have chosen this distinguished profession because they truly love children and our program enables them to inspire, influence, inform and educate the children in their care. It takes a very special person to teach young children and we encourage you to read more about our wonderful and talented staff.
VPK stands for the Voluntary Prekindergarten Education Program.
If you live in Florida, and your child turns 4 years of age by September 1, your child is eligible to participate in Florida's FREE 540 hours of Voluntary Prekindergarten (VPK) education program.
Our Creative Curriculum focuses on reading, writing and social skills. It prepares children to be ready for Kindergarten.
Our VPK instructors have a minimum of a Child Development Associate (CDA) certificate and have specialized training in the Florida VPK program.
Ratios are 1 instructors to 10 children and no classroom exceeds 20 children
IBK Preschool’s Tamarac 2017-2018 VPK program starts August 21st and will end on April 6th to accommodate our Kindergarten Readiness Camp. We offer 3.75 hour VPK sessions (Times to be announced) that meet the VPK's 540-hour requirement. The instructional hours are paid by the VPK program and are free to the parent. In order to accommodate your work schedule, we offer extended care hours for our VPK students, to include breakfast, lunch and snack at a rate of $110 per week.
IBK Preschool’s Fort Lauderdale 2017-2018 VPK program is structured to closely follow the Broward County Public School calendar. We offer 3.75 hour VPK sessions (Times to be announced). The 3.75 hour sessions run through April 20 and meet the VPK’s 540-hour requirement. The 3.75 instructional hours are paid by the VPK program and are free to the parent. In order to accommodate your work schedule, we offer extended care hours at a rate of $110 per week.
On non-VPK days, the rate remains the same at $110 per week.

IBK Preschool has installed a state of the art security camera system for our families. The facility’s cameras allow you to watch live video of your child learning, playing, and interacting with other children while in our care. Cameras are located in all indoor and outdoor play areas and video is available to enrolled parents as a live feed to help make your day a little brighter. For an additional fee of $5 per week, you may request your username and password by completing our camera authorization form which may be obtained from the Front Desk. Submit the completed, signed authorization form and once approved, your usernames and passwords will be activated.
